This is your fifth red carpet appearance at the 2026 Venice Film Festival—what emotions does this “catwalk” evoke in you each time? For me, being here at the Venice Film Festival is always incredibly exciting because we’re in Italy and in Venice, which is magical. It almost always feels like a “first time” for me, and I’m extremely grateful for that. And above all, I’m here to have fun.
You’re the star of the photographers’ shots on the red carpet, still bathed in sunlight, and then you’re sitting in the Sala Grande, in the dark, watching your film, *Wild Horse Nine*: where do you feel most at ease? I’d say in the dark theater… but let’s not forget that to get there, you have to walk the red carpet (she smiles, ed.). Light and darkness are always complementary.
You’re one of the most cinematic models
You’re one of the most cinematic models in history, capable of transforming yourself into a thousand different characters. Is there a director at the Festival this year with whom you’d sit down to dinner—even just to have him tell you a story? The red carpet event I’ll be attending today in Venice is for “Wild Horse Nine,” directed by Martin McDonagh. He’s incredible, and I’d definitely love to have dinner with him and the cast of his film, including John Malkovich, Steve Buscemi, and Tom Waits, who has a special appearance.
I’m a huge fan of his music! I’d absolutely love to sit down with them for dinner! The Festival is an adrenaline rush. What’s your favorite “wind-down” ritual once the red carpet lights go out and you’re back on the speedboat? I don’t really feel the adrenaline… I’ve been living through so many different experiences for so many years that bring me excitement and joy—that’s for sure.
As a way to unwind, I definitely love having a nice dinner and drinks with my team… that makes me truly happy, just as much as when my family is with me.
